CAROL GUNTER’S BIRTHDAY PARTY COLLECTION:  Thank you for sharing with us in celebrating Carol’s birthday. You will be pleased to know that we raised £350 for Acorns Children's Hospice.  A big THANK YOU to all of you.

Gloucester Trip:  There are a few spaces left for the trip to Gloucester on 6th September. It will be a cost of £18 per head. leaving The Church of the Good Shepherd at 9-9.30 and returning by 5-6pm (times to be confirmed).  Caroline and Ben will be happy to take money of you! Payment due sooner rather than later please but Caroline not in church this Sunday so anytime after that! Thanks.

The funeral service for Martin Murfitt will be held at Christ Church on Monday 23 June 2025 at 2pm, 3.15pm at Bushbury.

The funeral service for Michael Lewis will be held at Bushbury on Tuesday 24 June 2025 at 11.30am.  Strictly family only to attend.

Criss Cross Planning Meeting in JR on Wednesday 25 June at 11am.

The funeral service for Barbara Caddick will be held at CC on Tuesday 01 July 2025 at 10am.

For the Good Shepherd 70th anniversary weekend – 5 & 6 July 2025, we invite attendees to share their favourite hymn and a brief explanation of its significance. These hymns will be featured in the morning and afternoon services.

Saturday 5 July:  10.00 am Coffee, Craft Chat and Communion

                              4.00 pm tea and Cake 

                              6.00 pm BBQ

Sunday 6 July:  9.30 Morning Worship  

                        4.00 Songs of Praise

Produce grown locally is picked at the peak of its ripeness and will be full of flavour, tasting better than the produce that has been imported and travelled thousands of miles.

Saturday July 5th and Sunday July 6th Good Shepherd 70th Anniversary weekend to include:  Afternoon Tea /Garden Party, Parish BBQ on the Saturday plus Songs of Praise afternoon on the Sunday

Thursday August 21st – Parish Afternoon Tea in Jubilee Room

Saturday September 20th – Parish Quiz in Jubilee Room

Saturday September 27th – MacMillan Coffee morning at Good Shepherd

Sunday October 5th – Bring and Share lunch in the Jubilee Room after the service for harvest

Saturday October 18th – St Peter’s School concert in Christchurch

Saturday October 25th – Craft Fair at Good Shepherd

Saturday November 29th – Christmas Fayre at Good Shepherd
